To be honest, i didn't have a plot or concept for something like this while creating it. Originally i was planning to call it "Feels like summer", cause of how contradictory it was. Its not your typical having fun outside kind of summer, it was more of a summer filled with rushes of emptiness and sadness with no real way to explain it. My loss of words was the real reason why it was an instrumental project. The lofi sound helped to sit myself down for a second and vent somehow.
For "night dreamin" I wanted to recreate the feeling of walking back home. Walking to the pace of the drums while the guitars breathe slowly, the keys call me home as the flute wishes for comfort. Its been a long ass day and i want to be home in peace.
"sunsetz after rain" is js meant to be a vibe. Im in a relationship now, so i may be sad asf but i have my happy moments too lmao
"healing" is definitely the one that spoke the most to me when i created it. There comes a point where you learn that you can't avoid how you feel no matter how much you try to. The funny thing is it didn't cross my mind that i was avoiding my emotions. I mean if i trusted you enough i could tell you whether i felt cooked or not so i thought that was enough to say i've acknowledged how i felt. But sitting your ass down and taking the time to feel your emotions is a completely different story. Healing is not an easy process but its progress.
"when im with you" is like the pt. 2 to "healing". Except that now im not healing on my own. I feel accepted and loved and i haven't felt that in a while. The vibes (the instrument not the feeling) almost feel like an invitation to love, and saying its ok to hurt.
As for the title change, I didn't want to throw people off, and 404 is a message you get whenever there is an error on a website. The healing process felt like it crashed my server lmao. I thought after i graduated i would be happier without things to hold me back, but you know, life happens. But its also gonna keep happening so what can you really do about it?
